1. Strong understanding of the exportation and importation process for Sea Freight.
2. Using Key Performance Indicators to drive performance and efficiency.
3. Previous experience of working closely with carriers.
4. Experience of working with customs brokers, trucking brokers and warehousing operations.
5. Knowledge and understanding of local costs.
6. Experience of managing teams, and proven track record of improving efficiency and service.
7. Essential to have experience of using systems for daily operations, preferably a working understanding of Cargo Wise.
8. Capable of liaising directly with customers and involvement in office visits.
