We don’t have a signature creative style and are not wed to any predetermined media solution. We are smart and strategically driven thinkers digging into our clients’ businesses with a unique perspective to help solve their toughest challenges. We succeed by doing what’s right for the brand, the client, and, most importantly, their business.
We practice something more than mere “integration.” Maybe it should be called “unification.” We built an agency from the ground up—organically—with a single-minded focus on creating big ideas and organizing ideas. All that, and an equally adamant focus on delivering those ideas anywhere and everywhere customers interact with our brands.
In 2002, three legendary ad men founded mcgarrybowen with a passion for iconic brands and a simple request that we still ask all of our clients today:

Less than a decade later, their determination to hold true to this founding belief led mcgarrybowen to be named Agency of the Year by Advertising Age in 2009, and again by both Advertising Age and Adweek in 2011. Today, mcgarrybowen remains an independently operating agency network, built lean and smart to deliver the speed and unique thinking our clients rely on.
mcgarrybowen's first office in Asia is nestled in a renovated art deco lane house in Shanghai's historic former French Concession neighborhood. Our office can already boast employees from 10 different countries. We are a tight knit, fast growing group who frequently enjoy lunch together in our outdoor garden space. The mcgarrybowen people believes in harmony and strive for healthy work culture, environment and discipline, would ultimately benefit both our clients and our employees. We are a family of champions. We bring together people from a diverse range of functions and disciplines.
