As a fully integrated shipping company, OLDENDORFF CARRIERS is combining the strength of Germany's largest bulk shipowner with the flexibility of one of the world's leading drybulk operators.
It is a subsidiary of the family holding EGON OLDENDORFF oHG, established in 1921. Another subsidiary is our shipyard FLENSBURGER Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, founded in 1872, presently the world's leading RoRo builder. Other activities include farming, aviation and real estate including a hotel. Our 2,800 employees are of 60 different nationalities.

We serve our cargo clients through 12 offices and a comprehensive network of trades. Each year, some 90 million tons of bulk and unitized cargo are carried. On average, we operate some 300 ships with a capacity of around 14,000,000 tdw at any one time, of which around 50 are owned.
OLDENDORFF CARRIERS is also the world's leading seaborne carrier of steel cargoes.
Conveyor belt selfunloaders are operated in a pool with CSL International. These special units discharge the bulk cargoes by gravity with up to 5,000 tons per hour. Our bulk logistics division is also involved in off-shore transshipment of bulk cargo in Turkey, Guyana and Indonesia.
Each year, we perform around 9,000 port calls to some 120 countries. In fact, OLDENDORFF CARRIERS is serving more load ports and destinations than any other drybulk operator.
