Responsibilities
1 Responsible in executing new product launch activities Inhouse /FG suppliers .Ensure products acceptance in Mass Production that meet quality & manufacturability requirements and meet 100% product launch date on time.
1.1 Attend project kick off meeting with Program Manger and understand project requirements and expectations.
1.2 Review production/FQC/OBA data (First Pass Yield) and conduct risk assessment with RPN value..
1.3 Ensure MFG process issues are fixed on time and no repetition on next pilot build.
1.4 Establish Process Verification Testing Plan on the Product and released report to Agile System
1.5 Establish Audit Plan and conduct audit covering IQC/Production Line/FQC/OOBA and resolve any non-conformance and to error proof
1.6 Attend and contribute PFMEA with Team member and validate in manufacturing to eliminate if not reduced risk to manageable level
1.7 Conduct parts or product sample and check if it is compliant to specification from BOM.
1.8 Define ORT plan for the product.
1.9 Review FQC/OBA/ORT during MP stage.Conduct risk assessment on the failures
1.10 Review Mass Production readiness and provide inputs to MPM
1.11 Ensure complete and consistent information posted into the Launch Support project Database.
1.12 Handover of product to sustaining team with proper documentation to sustain product quality.
1.13 Approved ECO and ensure implementation on time ..
1.14 May participate in the approval of product changes request
1.15 May participate in the investigation and resolution of product quality from Distribution Centers and field returns ( customer complaints) .
1.16 Trains the inspector for testing in IQC, FQC, OOB & Lab
1.17 Define and facilitate purchase of equipments/Tools required for IQC/FQC/OOB & Lab.
1.18 Supervises the set-up of new equipment and creation of user operating manual in IQC, FQC, OOB & Lab
Qualifications
“MUST-HAVE” REQUIREMENTS:
1. The candidate should have minimum degree of Bachelor in Science in EE or ME or Computer
2. He/She should have at least 5 years in quality assurance, new project launch activities and familiar with manufacturing process in an electronics company ( EMS/CDM/ODM type) .
3. Should have an excellent English communication in both oral and writing.
4. Willing to travel ( 5% to 10% )
5. Certified QE or have knowledge in lean manufacturing/Six Sigma is a plus.
“PREFERRED” REQUIREMENTS:
1. Quality Engineering function that support new product launch and sustaining
2. Quality Systems and Process Auditing skills
3. Supplier Management or SQE function
4. Application of basic quality tools ( SPC,GR and R,Cpk,FMEA,fishbone etc)
