Overall Summary:
1.The Manager Area Sales proposes and is responsible for execution of the sales strategy in a particular area. Directly manages the Area Customer Managers reporting to him.
2.Development of people and tools to increase overall competence, efficiency and flexibility
Main Responsibilities:
1.Gives input to the sales strategy for CFS products (within centrally set framework)
2.Drive long and short-term sales/ profitability in his area for the complete CFS portfolio
3.Control sales and marketing related costs
4.Validate sales lead quality
5.Manage and develop Area Customer Managers
6.Resolve major conflicts with customer
7.Prepare budgets and assist quarterly forecasts for region
8.Coordinate all sales activities of the assigned areas
9.Leverage Product Specialists and other CFS resources with maximum efficiency
10.Can be assigned as Area Customer Manager
Requirements:
Education: Preferably tertiary education
Skills:
- Very good business sense and analytical skills
- Good people management and communications skills
- Strong result focus
- Strong commercial skills
- Conflict management skills
- Language skills
Experience: 5+ years of sales and/or sales management experience or operational or project management experience from the food processing
