Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise all aspects of media planning, client and agency relations and personnel development within portfolio of clients
• Compile and input into individual goal setting for all members of team and ensure regular discussion and appraisal of meeting of these objectives and adherence to job specifications
• Be responsible for team structure and resource allocation for each client to ensure optimum and adequate resource for each client
• Seek out and exploit opportunities with current clients to strengthen relationship and create new revenue streams
• Ensure all team members to attend and complete all relevant training courses
• Have regular dialogues with team members to exchange ideas, techniques and issues to encourage greater inter team communication
• Be an advocate of creative media thinking to all team members
• Be actively involved in company-wide issues such as training and recruitment and contribute ideas and initiatives to team leaders to improve staffing, client and agency partner relations
• Act as an ambassador and evangelist to all external parties at all times and to clearly understand and be able to communicate the company objectives, culture and credentials

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Be able to manage and motivate employees, clients and suppliers
• Possess commercial awareness and demonstrated business acumen
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills, both in Chinese and English
• Be current on systems applications and updates
• Possess strong selling skills and sound financial management skills
• Conduct all business relationships in an efficient, courteous and straightforward manner and be able to resolve any issues in a consistent, fair and objective manner
• Dealing with people issues promptly working in conjunction with the team leader and HR to ensure fairness and consistency
• Possess thorough market and industry knowledge – historical and current and to identify opportunities
• Possess thorough client knowledge – also client’s market and competitors information
• Have top-line knowledge of the broader picture – other markets and key clients
• A minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant work experience
