Position Summary

  

Sales Operations Manager oversees all sales related processes, procedures, and activities that drive sales growth and productivity, Partner with sales leadership to support sales strategy and planning – segmentation, targeting, channel strategy, and resource deployment.

  

Key role responsibilities

    

  • Lead sales transformation and effectiveness initiatives to increase sales productivity.

  • Serve as “process champion” to the broader sales organization.

  • Spearhead recruiting and talent management for the sales organization.

  • Actively engage sales leadership and other relevant stakeholders to identify sales support needs. Lead the implementation of sales support related processes and procedures to meet stakeholder needs.

  •  Conduct sales performance reviews and provide related insights to the sales leadership team.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to design sales compensation plans and incentive programs that drive sales growth.

  •  Oversee all sales administration activities – territory sizing and alignment, quota setting, and sales compensation plan administration.

  • Management responsibility of customer service team, to improve the overall customer satisfaction and facilitate internal customer first culture.

  • According to the customer returns and customer problem reports license, to improve measures to promote the implementation of corrective measures.

                  

 

    

Qualifications and experience

    

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics required, MBA or Master’s degree preferred

  • 7+ years functional experience, 6+ years of managerial role

  • Ability to communicate clearly with key client executives across multiple functions and regions related to critical business needs

  • Strong behavioral skills such as listening, mediation, and negotiation; and knowledge of participative change management methods. 

  • Demonstrates and drives organizational influence based upon in depth cross functional knowledge, strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Applies creative thinking when dealing with ambiguity and complex situations, often out of the comfort zone

  • Results oriented and drive for success; displays sense of urgency and persistence until goals are met; applies problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles; entrepreneurial in displaying initiative and taking ownership for self and teams being led.

  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills for self and teams.

  • Self-directed; operates with limited supervision, demonstrates ability to make high level decisions based on limited guidance in line with principles and strategic direction.

  • Knowledge of finance, decision science, economics, and policy analysis to measure strategic, value-added benefits preferred
