Theoretic competences

• Min. bachelor’s degree, preferable in business related principles
• Min. 10 years of working experience in multinational companies, min. 4-5 years in Procurement Leadership Position
• Qualification in CIPS/CPSM is a plus

• Strong with category management of indirect spend with hands-on experience on daily operation
• Have experience within Procurement, SRM & Process Transformation
• Proven analytical skills, methodical, structured, and affinity for details and quality
• Proactive, diligent, willing to take ownership while result-oriented and sensitive to timeline
• Strong stakeholder management with excellent communication and negotiation skills, including interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural differences
• Have a customer and process improvement mindset
• Have successful change management experience and mindset. Have the ability to constructively challenge the status quo

• Excellent at English speaking and writing
• Familiar with ERP/IT tools

Area of responsibility

Position

• Overall responsible for IPO spend management (Indirect Production Overhead), including indirect OPEX spend for MCI Qingdao plant
• Define, shape and drive category strategy in close alignment with stakeholders
• Category management and operation of various categories/spend
• Skilled stakeholder management to support operation
• Close collaboration with rest of Maersk/MCI category management
• Drive category performance, standards and compliance by defining and monitoring key process and performance indicators
• Drive SRM framework with procurement owners and sponsors
• Drive digital transformation initiatives
• Management of 4 direct reports who are category managers/buyers
• Fulfilment of ad-hoc tasks assigned management
• Based in Qingdao
