minimum NACE CIP Level 2, FROSIO NS476 Level III or SSPC PCI Level 2, for painting inspector; minimum NACE Level II for Insulation Inspector or NCTI Certified Thermal Insulation Inspector Level II; 

 at least 5-10 years of experience applying the discipline skill to oil and gas projects. 

 at least 8-10 years experiences in the oil & gas industry with experience in major project QA/QC including technical skills for hot and cold insulation particularly for major structural steels, pressure vessels and piping packages; 

 familiar with Shell DEP specifications (preferred) ; understand project completion system; 

 read, write (inspection report, technical report) and speak English;

competent to read and understand engineering drawings able to issue and follow up non conformity report; 

 able to carry out punching work for system completion; able to interface with other disciplines at the various stages;

 able to identify materials that are sub-standard and that do not meet the requirements of the job specification (rogue and counterfeit items); 

  able to review and interpret quality records and determine associated compliance with requirements (performance data, test record, inspection record, manufacturing data report and other quality data and documents;

 knowledge of calibration of equipment and measuring requirements familiar with Equipment and commodities preservation requirements including the preservation for shipment of products and materials able to review and interpret technical requirements in the Contract and Subcontracts or purchase orders;

 must be organized and able to multi-task. written and oral communication skills with both individuals and groups; 

 self-disciplined and self-motivated;

 strong interpersonal skills and is able to work well with people at all levels of the project organization; 

practice a conscientious teamwork effort; 

 strong trouble shooting and analytical skills; exhibit a courteous and professional attitude knowledge of base metal especially exotic material;

 able to review ITP and Quality Procedure for own discipline; knowledge of Hot and Cold Insulation activities, experience in PIR, PUF and Mineral Wool type insulation, witnessing material testing and sound knowledge of the materials, insulation methods, codes, standards and testing; 

 at least 5 years experiences specifically related to cryogenic insulation activities; 

 knowledge of industrial codes (NACE, SSPC, NFPA and etc.); able to understand and interpret the commonly used standards, codes, and industry practices for coating, painting, insulation or fire proofing. 

 understand and able to use surface preparation inspection instruments; understand liquid applied coating and curing mechanism; knowledge of surface preparation equipment and various application methods;

 understand coating or insulation failures;

 knowledge of common epoxy coating systems used for oil and gas industry knowledge of hot-dip galvanizing; 

 able to perform coating survey or evaluations; advanced knowledge of surface preparation, coating and inspection criteria of special substrates; 

 knowledge of fire proofing application; knowledge of different types of insulation and fire proofing and their applications; 

 competent of troubleshooting coating, insulation and fire proofing application defects; High School diploma or equivalent;
