职位描述
Mission of Function
- Governance, manage, control and audit the logistics network, activities and processes of the Siemens Infrastructure & Cities Sector - Division Rail Systems and the related Business Units in North East Asia Cluster, including the project logistics.
- Main goal of the position is achieving and maintaining safe, customer-satisfying and regulation compliant logistics processes with maximum contribution to operating profit from purchasing materials, logistics and services through continuous process improvements and resource optimization.
Dimensions of Function
- Work closely with SLC SCM IM Logistics, RL SCM head, operational logistics, project teams, etc.
- Provide expert advice, training and technical assistance to all levels of the organization.
- Reports to RL SCM head directly. Functional reports include all operational logistics staff in the division and projects in the cluster

What are my Responsibilities?
1. Functional responsibility as IC RL SCM Logistics Head within NEA Cluster
- Design, plan, implement, maintain and govern all Division and BU-specific logistics policies and processes.
- Align global and regional logistics policies and processes.
- Inform relevant parities about global and regional logistics policies and processes.
- Support day-to-day operations with hands-on working attitude.
- Ensure transparency and measurability of the logistics process to enable reporting and planning.
2. Logistics and SCM-strategy, program and implementation
- Align with relevant business partners throughout the whole organization and support implementation of Corporate or Sector driven programs and initiatives.
- Determine and establish effective and innovative logistics strategies, taking specific market environment into account.
- Develop and implement business / project specific logistics concepts (including storage).
3. Functional leadership in logistics community and development of staff
- Take responsibility to analyze day-to-day logistics activities in the logistics community and work out individual improvement measures.
- Work as a trainer and coach with the individual team members in the logistics and project community.
4. Information Technology and eBusiness
- Definition and implementation of Division-specific IT tools and eBusiness tools for logistics, in close collaboration with SCM System Application Manager, to ensure efficient and up-to-date information.
5. Represent IC RL SCM Logistics to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders
6. Benchmarking
- Implementation of Division-specific logistics benchmarking to initiate continuous improvement
What do I need to qualify for this job ?
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area or equivalent experience required. Fluency in English and Mandarin required. Minimum of 3 years working experience in Logistics area. Hands-on working attitude with a high level of self-motivation
- Sound understanding of cross-functional business
- Convincing personality and ability to lead functional teams - Ability to collaborate with international, intra-/inter-company work groups
