Excellent Location: Qingdao

Key Responsibilities:

Project leader for platform projects

Keep timely tract of assigned projects in terms of time, cost and specification

Create and maintain clear communication lines with external and internal stakeholders, such as sales, production, procurement, quality, finance, sub suppliers, institutes and external experts.

Be contact person for colleagues in DK with regards to platform projects

Ensure compliance with internal procedures in general and the Gate model in particular.

Act proactively to changes

Participation in detailed mechanical design work

Local lead of the Star freezer project (box and unit)

Local representative of the stage gate model

Be familiar with the reefer business (competitors, manufacturing and operation)

Be familiar regulations ISO, UIC, ATP, CSC etc.

Deliver projects on time, on specification and on cost

Ability to guide and manage your project team in an effective manner

Ability to lead and live according to values

Well applied sense of quality

Adaptive to changes of priorities

Ability to think out of the box

Ability to learn and adapt fast

Key Requirements:

MSc or BSc degree in mechanics or thermodynamic.

Experienced project leader, preferably of platform projects.

Holistic business perspective.

Preferably experienced with the stage gate methodology.

Experience from serial production in heavy industry.

Good understanding of production technology.

Good communication skills in English (min. band 4) and Chinese verbal and written

Familiar with DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

Preferable CAD user (Inventor) and familiar with ERP

Efficient, participative, and holistic decisionmaker

Willingness to frequent traveling, national and international (~30 days/year)

Team player

Dedication, persistency and staying calm in stressed situations
