Position Description: 

        

Responsible first and foremost for servicing Sales and Program management needs including all external Omni-ID customers.  The position requires direct interface with internal and external customers.  This position is a direct line to the customer and works with engineering to develop solution requirements.  Equally critical, the position is accountable for product quality delivered to the customer and must therefore ensure customer satisfaction.      

    

Responsibilities:    

Support site surveys    

       Product cost and vendor acquisition    

       Support product evaluations    

       Execute on test plans, design of experiments    

       Write Reports – site audit, test results, trip reports, etc….    

       Product requirements documentation    

       Support software, customer demos    

       Call support, maintenance support    

       Minor script writing, understanding of dbase  

             

Qualifications    

Background/Education    

●      Min BS in related Engineering degree (Electrical, Software, Computer Science, Communication Engineering)    

●      3 years +. in RF tag design and/or RF Systems/Communications exp.    

●      3 years +.  system testing exp.    

●      3-5 years’ experience in industrial automation or SCADA software preferred    

●      Excellent communication skills with attention to detail    

●      Proven customer engagement skills    

●      Working knowledge of lab equipment

• Good presentation, communication and coordination skill, excellent team worker;
• Strong problem analyzing and trouble shooting skills;

            

Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel to customer sites (domestic and abroad    

       

Desired Experience

    

●      Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET/C# programming language, SQL Database – schema and query design, Web Server, RESTful Services is a plus    

●      Demonstrable experience working with RFID technology    

●      Experience with selling and supporting custom and semi-custom software solutions at work cell and enterprise level    

●      Experience in ERP/MES/EAM system
