职位描述

 Responsibilities   

1. Store planning and development   a.Participate in business planning i. Category / brand mix ii. Sales targets and overheads forecasts b.Supervise new store planning i. Contribute to concept definition and design ii. Supervise construction and renovation in coordination with store planning team iii. Handover and merchandizing c. Manage store openings i. Staff recruitment and training ii. Supply chain setup iii. Back-office setup   

2. Store operations management a.Implement operational processes i. Store operations - Customer service / selling - Inventory levels ii. Warehouse operations - Stock management - Import / logistics iii. Back-office operations - Cash handling / discounts given - Customs / import duties iv. IT processes - POS / Inventory processes - SAP processes b.Implement operational controls i. Sales monitoring (SPP, ATV, markdowns) and action planning ii. Staff costs monitoring and optimization iii. Promotions effectiveness monitoring iv. Loss prevention and investigation c. Implement merchandizing programs i. Set up new collections and sales events in compliance ii. Visual merchandizing guidelines provided by regional VM team


iii. Provide feedback on pricing strategy and promotional activities d.Develop luxury retail store team

i. Create and structure luxury operations team

- Store sales team

ii. Manage and coach luxury operations team

- Set objectives and work organization

- Plan store staffing based on operational and brand requirements

iii. Supervise recruitment of team members

- Retail management

iv. Develop new staff induction programs

- Company policies and expectation setting

- Processes and standards induction

- Tutor and mentor programs

v. Adapt and implement training programs

- Implement Oscar customer service program

- Adapt/develop other programs as required

- Set dress / presentation / customer interaction standards

vi. Manage team performance and work environment

- Ensure full compliance of team with all company policies and standards

- Conduct performance reviews and set individual targets for team members

- Foster work environment that is conducive to team member development and success

- Ensure compliance with labour laws and Occupational Health & Safety regulations

vii. Implement staff incentive/development programs e.Achieve operational excellence

i. Set and achieve operational/budget targets

ii. Set and achieve qualitative targets

iii. Improve operational standards with regional guidance/support

iv. Implement customer service programs and performance standards

v. Set up customer feedback and complaint resolution processes

f. Support buying and inventory management

i. Advise regional buying team on product purchasing

ii. Work in coordination with regional buying team to optimize product inventory

iii. Provide timely input and actionable feedback to regional buying team to achieve stock coverage and gross margin targets

3. Budgeting and analysis

a.Prepare operational reports and analysis as required

  • Internal reports

  • External reports b.Set and implement action plans

  • Corporate level action plans

c. Participate in business review meetings

  • Area business reviews

  • China business reviews

  • Regional business reviews

4. Business development


a.Support Business Development team in identifying, planning and realizing business development opportunities:

  1. in duty-paid and duty-free luxury categories

  2. in accordance with company strategy and objectives b.Gather market and competitive intelligence

  1. Sales data, market trends and brand strategies

  2. Competitor strategies and development

c. Formulate development strategy for existing and new luxury categories

Qualifications & Experience


  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field or equivalent experience

  • Detailed understanding of luxury fashion store operation

  • Professional experience in a similar position in a multi-site luxury retail organisation; experience in travel retail an advantage

  • Proven commitment to achieving highest standards of work quality

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Managerial and leadership qualities

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Experience in the preparation of budgets, proposals and reports

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and understanding of ERP systems (SAP knowledge an advantage)

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
