The market research analyst at IPC China will work closely with the market research group at IPC headquarters in the USA. This person will report to the market research project manager at IPC China.



Duties:

1. Maintain communications with the Chinese participating companies, providing them with information and support as needed.

2. Act as liaison with Chinese participating companies to collect their quarterly and annual surveys.

3. Translate English surveys and reports into Chinese.

4. Assist the market research project manager as directed to recruit Chinese companies to participate in IPC statistical programs and studies and to retain the active participation of Chinese companies in the programs.

5. Collect, tabulate and analyze data, as directed by the market research project manager.

6. Develop a thorough knowledge of the IPC statistical programs and adhere to IPC policies governing data confidentiality.

7. Develop a basic understanding of IPC's member industries and technical terminology.



Skill Set:

1. Excellent English-language proficiency as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese.

2. Excellent telephone skills.

3. Quantitative skills.

4. Sales experience helpful.



Special Requirements:

1. Protecting the confidentiality of participating companies' data is crucial. The market research analyst will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
