1. Give particular importance to design, ergonomics, costs, weight, functionality, reliability, and the compliance with the customer requirements. Implement existing components wherever possible and regard the aviation-related regulations during the offer evaluation.

2. In the offer preparation phase of a project be responsible for preparing the summary of customer’s requirements and the corresponding proposals. Initiate necessary investigations including layout investigation, new specifications, regulations investigation, new features offer ability checking and confirmation.

3. Be responsible for the preparation of technical aspect during the offer evaluation process (OEB/SDB) and present the summary to the German and Chinese development team which includes Platform, Modules, Validation and Verification.

4. Ensure timely summary of the non-recurring costs (NRCs) and project timelines from all concerning departments.

5. Establish a good understanding of the product calculation.

6. Ensure timely accomplishment of the offer evaluation by following the respective OEB process.

7. Be familiar with aviation regulations and OEM’s SPECs and capable for aircraft layout investigation and proposals.

8. Occasional travel, must keep valid and current transport

QUALIFICATION

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or above; majoring in the field of aviation and space technology, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering

EXPERIENCE: At least three years of professional experience in product development, design engineering and project work. Relevant professional experience in Airlines or OEMs is desirable. Alternatively, you have had experiences at Sales or Customer Support.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good English spoken and written communication skills

COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project) user, knowledge and relevant user experience in CATIA V5.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Good knowledge of mechanical design as well as of the applicable regulations.
