职位描述：
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary: This position is accountable for the project and Fabrication logistics planning, contracting, and day-to-day project logistics operation in Asia (China, Korea, and Thailand).
Details:
A. Proposal Logistics Planning:
1. Prepare RFQ-s and communicate with the approved global project logistics suppliers in reference to the Proposal Logistics Plans
2. Work with the freight forwarders and the Global Project Logistics Manager on the risk and cost evaluation for the Proposal Logistics Plan in reference to the filtering matrix
3. Support the Global Project Logistics Manager for the Proposal Logistics planning for projects
4. Posts the Proposal Logistics Plans for management approval.
5. Present the Proposal Logistics Plans at Risk and Cost review.

B. Project Logistics Planning:
1. Work with the Project team and the Regional Logistics Planner on the final equipment list and schedule for the authorized projects.
2. Work with the freight forwarders on Project Logistics RFQ-s and RFP-s in reference to the filtering matrix
3. Support the Global Project Logistics Manager for the contracting of the logistics services for projects with elevated risk
4. Prepare the project Logistics Plan and post it for management approval.
5. Present the project Logistics Plan to the project team.

C. Execution:
1. Responsible for the Project Logistics PO-s.
2. Work with the Global Project Logistics Manager on SOP-s for the project logistics services.
3. Responsible for the day-to-day logistics coordination, Logistics Plan updates, communication with the freight forwarders for the Asia projects.
4. Support the Global Project Logistics Manager for execution of intra-company (fabrication) shipments.
5. Resolve logistics issues expeditiously.
6. Coordinate/approve international and heavy lift/OOG shipment bookings.
7. Support the Global Project Logistics Manager for preparation of claim reports for transportation loss and damage.
8. Negotiate rates with freight forwarders for additional scope or logistics information changes.
9. Evaluate the invoices issued by the logistics suppliers and manage the change orders when necessary.

D. Post-execution:
1. Evaluate freight forwarder’s performance.
2. Work with the Global Project Logistics Manager on project logistics cost reports.
3. Insert logistics savings in system for Asia logistic savings
4. Work with the Global Project Logistics Manager on project logistics dispute resolutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent required
- 10+ years of experience in transportation industry (freight brokerage or freight forwarding, import export department with shipper/importer);
- Excellent knowledge of INCOTERM 2000/2010;
- Excellent knowledge of transportation documentation (CMR, B/L, AWB);
- Excellent knowledge of the import and export customs regulations and procedures in Asia and north America
- Experience in domestic and/or international transportation of break bulk, oversized and heavy cargo – preferred;
