Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for leading the Purchasing function of production materials at the factory.

· Streamline the supply chain and drive for continuous cost savings of the total cost through comprehensive sourcing, commodity and supply chain strategies development

· Engage in supplier selection, certification & quality management

· Work closely with materials planning and project team to ensure prompt MRP execution and to handle other supply chain issues to meet customer delivery requirements

· Drive and lead the purchasing team to comply to the company purchasing policies

· Vendor Managed Inventory implementation & alternative source development

· Lead the team in sourcing and assessing new qualified suppliers for new project RFQ in the global and local context, so as to win new businesses

· Supplier performance management in the areas of quality, cost, delivery and technology

· Lead & train the team to achieve targets results in respect of project engineering, sourcing, supplier selection and certification, procurement and supplier performance management.

· Requirements:

· Aged 35 and above. Possess highest business ethics & integrity

· Degree holder in Business Administration/Engineering/Purchasing & Supply Chain Management

· Over 15 years solid experience in the Sourcing & Purchasing of high-tech electronics industry in sizeable or multinational manufacturing companies, of which at least 8 years at senior managerial level a MUST. Prior EMS purchasing experience preferred

· Good components and product knowledge with proven record in handling electronics OEM/ODM projects in areas of sourcing, supplier selection and certification, purchasing and supplier performance management

· Excellent Negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and internal departments

· Hands-on, detailed and possess good analytical and problem solving skills. Energetic & resourceful, in addition to good mentor to the subordinates

· Result-oriented with strong leadership and able to work under pressure

· Good command of English both oral & writing, as frequent conference calls with overseas suppliers are necessary
