POSITION 职位: Purchasing Manager

JOB PURPOSE 设置本岗位的目的
- Identifies new sources of flavours and production capabilities in China to deliver added value to Givaudan
- Manages supplier relationships with existing Chinese suppliers
- Provides competitive intelligence on existing and potential Chinese competitors for Givaudan ingredients
- Supports purchasing initiatives for locally-sourced materials supplied to Givaudan China
- Coordinates audits of Chinese suppliers
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 主要工作职责
1. Supplier development:
* Through discussion and on-site visits, identify new sources of flavours, specialty intermediates and building blocks for use in flavours development.
* Lead the development and implementation of long term sourcing strategies for materials primarily sourced in China.
2. Chinese supplier management:
* Serve as Givaudan point of contact with all key Chinese suppliers regardless of product category.
* Investigate potential Chinese sources of selling Flavours ingredients and provide intelligence back to stakeholders.
* Support audits for Flavours in China.
3. Support for local purchasing in Givaudan China:
* Develop new sources of local materials initially used at Givaudan China .
4. Decision-making authority:
* Sourcing strategies within responsibilities
* Yearly budget forecasts for key Chinese materials
* Sourcing allocations for responsible products
* Partner decisions for strategic projects.
* Contract approval within financial guidelines

QUALFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 资质与经验
* Technical background in Food related majors or Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in Purchasing.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
* Ability to think strategically. Identify future needs and potential fit with suppliers.
* Strong negotiation skills. Able to successfully balance cost, supply risk and quality.
* Project leadership. Can coordinate activities across functions, geographies, and companies.
* Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
* Analytical skills. Ability to accurately predict/anticipate marketplace events and trends
