Indirect Materials & Services Buyer – Nantong - Your Future Position?

As an IM&S Buyer in our Flavor Division Nantong Site, you will be responsible for sourcing and ordering of Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) and manages the procurement of IM&S during the phase 2 construction project in Nantong Site.

- Support the purchase of Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) for the sites in China, as well as support the global procurement group. This includes sourcing, pricing, rejections, supplier inventory, supply chain, obsolescence and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Manages the procurement of IM&S during the phase 2 construction project in Nantong. This includes sourcing, pricing, evaluation, rejections, supplier inventory, documentation, obsolescence and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Negotiate annual and long term contracts.
- Support the sourcing process by developing intimate knowledge of selected commodity markets through study, analysis, personal contacts with suppliers, and any other sources of market information.
- Analyze trends and market movements for use in making sound procurement decisions.
- Provide market conditions, pricing, shortages or technical information to Global Category Managers and make recommendations.
- Integrate the IM&S processes so as to conform to the guidelines developed within the SAP and SRM system.
- Maintain existing SRM catalogues and drive the implementation of new SRM catalogues
- Advise and assist other functions in the evaluation and pricing of alternative materials. Advise on trade practices, pricing, market conditions, delivery terms, and utilization of technical services of vendors.
- Initiate search for new alternative services, materials or products.
- Solicit and analyze quotes, negotiate prices and delivery terms and investigate invoice discrepancies.
- Investigate and approve the facilities, quality and financial responsibility of potential sup-pliers
- Actively support the responsible sourcing projects implementation (Sedex, Audits)

Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor in Engineering
- 5~6 years’ experience in Project / Engineering Procurement
- Understanding of procurement processes
- Strong system skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Google )
