Main Responsibilities:

* The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that company's customers receive a continual professional service.
* The Sales Engineer is to promote the full product range to the market and offer support or undertake commercial and technical promotion to yards, owners (at the yards), consultants as needed to achieve the preferred supplier's status for WTS. Invite other from WTS to assist as needed.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for the performance of the accounts under his/her control.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that he/she is receiving the relevant statistical information on his customers and utilizing it fully.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible to report and take or cause corrective action to be taken to ensure budgets are achieved and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that his/her customers receive the service required and to resolve any problems that occur as quickly and efficiently as possible.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for contract negotiations with (potential) customers
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that information is available on his customer for the Sales Management.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all actions relating to customers are carried out in accordance with the company's standards.
* The Sales Engineer is authorised to sign for the company according to approved routines.
* The Sales Engineer is responsible for preparation of quotations and other sales documents.
* Have a general knowledge of and keep updated on all applicable domestic and informational rules and regulations and ensure that quoted systems comply

Required Qualifications:

* To a reasonable standard with experience rather than formal education being the key requirement.
* The Sales Engineer should have experience from the marine industry. Some technical experience would be a benefit, sales and negotiation skills are essential.
* A good command of spoken and written English is essential with additional languages being desirable.
* Basic computer literacy is essential.
* An outgoing personality with good communication and people skills.
