Position: Supervisor, Quality Control

Reporting to: Manager, Quality

JOB OBJECTIVES:

1. Develop, monitor, and implement quality control procedures and policies according to corporate standards to achieve superior reliability.

2. Supervise and arrange the QC lab team to conduct analysis on the raw materials, products-in-progress and finished goods to ensure their quality fit for production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the edition and periodical update the Quality Control Procedure in order to formulate the accurate guidelines for QC lab such as analytical methods, SOPs etc.

2. Set up new QC lab for new site such as lab instrument selection/installation, lab personnel recruiting and training, PAP (product assurance plan) setup, SAP-QM-LIMS setup, 'round-robin test conducting' etc.

3. Supervise QC lab team to work on the analysis and testing according to the degree of complication by allocating assignment, conduct complicated tests in order to ensure the materials and products meet the quality requirements.

4. Check and review all the test result records with PAP updates, ensure all of data are generated properly under SOPs.

5. Determine the quality according to the agreed specification or PAP, report to supervisor or relevant department any unusual findings/abnormalities with recommendation on corrective actions, make monthly reports for product characteristic on statistic basis.

6. Work as lab safety specialist to ensure the all behavior of staff in proper and safe manner in lab and housekeeping etc.

7. Maintain the SAP-QM-LIMS as administrator to ensure the system working and updating properly.

8. Make budget and purchasing plan for lab chemicals and consumables etc, and training plan for QC lab staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: bachelor or master degree with major in analytical chemistry, or pharmaceutical analysis, Ph.D degree is preferred.

2. Working Experience: more than 5 years related experiences in MNC, at least 3 years Quality Control lab management experience in crop protection company-formulation/synthesis.

3. Technical & Professional Knowledge: 1). Familiar with quality management system ISO9001, and crop protection formulating product characteristics; 2). Communication: Good communications with other international formulating sites, Oral/Written English is required. 3). Team working: work with other functions collaboratively, and work as team player in site quality control.
