Job description (Senior sourcing engineer)

- Tracking and evaluating of supplier's performance, support SQA engineers with supplier improvement;
- Assisting the project proposal engineers in getting quotations during project price estimation phases;
- Reading drawing and technical data, communicate with project team and advise them so that the localization result would be conformed;
- Clear understanding of localization tasks, Proven negotiation skills;
- Supporting localization projects & global sourcing projects;
- Supplier management, establish logistic system with supplier, set up the target for in time delivery and follow-up, timely solve the delivery issues in daily operation. Set up partnership with supplier;
- Cost and Lead time reduction in component supply and logistics.
- Other assignments from Sourcing Manager;

Mission
To do the market investigation and search before or during the project phase, to achieve the better solution and cost target.
Project Management ,be the interface between purchasing department and other department as project leader of purchasing department to make sure the efficient project leading.

Experience requirements
- At least 2 years experience in localization engineering position, 3 year sourcing experience is necessary;
5 years working experience in manufacturing enterprise.

Knowledge
- Sourcing experience in commodities like coolers/vessels, heat exchanger, valves, castings is preferred.
-Reading BOM, drawing and technical data, be able to talk technical issue with both vendor and internal team, be able to talk to commercial terms with vendors.

Educational requirements
Bachelor Degree or above, Major in Mechanical Engineering or related area, familiar with GB and ASME standard is preferred.

Personality requirements
Good negotiation and communication skill with commercial feeling.
Good team work spirit and business ethics is a must
Good command of English language both oral and writing, as well as computer skills. Economic and legal knowledge are required.
