职位描述
General Description
This position has a direct reporting line to the IT Applications Delivery Manager with two main functions:
Project Application Development activities and implementations to meet customer requirements.
Serve as the main communication interface between SSC IT and Schenker Australia for development
projects.
Specific Accountabilities
? Ensure all technical solutions and application developments are produced as per agreed Systems
Narrative and meet agreed project plan timelines.
? Complete test case documents and perform QA for projects responsible.
? High quality and low maintenance solutions produced.
? Maintain all the code developed, under source control software.
? Providing service to internal and external customers through application development and delivery
throughout all phases of IT projects
? Being the IT contact for Logistics system development projects and for support activity escalation
? Facilitating operational support related to Logistics IT systems with periodic updates on high priority
tickets as outlined in support SLA
? Becoming an SME on the software, hardware and solutions within the Logistics IT system scope
? No idle time for any resources under your responsibility
? Ensure all documents, project milestones and sign-offs are produced for each engagement as per IT
project engagement process through IT PMO.
? High quality and low maintenance solutions produced.
? Maintain all the code developed, under source control software.

? Extensive knowledge in SQL 2000 & 2008, Transact SQL, ASP (classic), ASP.NET, web
technologies / concepts, databases especially transaction processing, database design techniques.
? Exceed WMS Development
? Jupiter RF Development
? EDI Messaging Development
? Ability to grow into other technical areas as directed
? Basic knowledge of batch processing, MS DOS batch scripts
? Equivalent combination of Education and experience
? Extensive training/exposure to Warehouse & Transport Management Systems
Experience and Qualifications
? Team Management

? Business knowledge / acumen
? Good understanding of logistics operational processes
? Time management skills
? Excellent Customer Service skills
? Excellent communication skills (English language), highly service orientated
? Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
? Documentation skills
