Based in Shanghai or Beijing, the  China Corporate and Sustainability Lead   will be a highly organized, deadline oriented, proactive and confident  team player with excellent communications, media and events knowledge, able to  work on multiple projects with efficiency and dedication. 
WHAT  YOU  DO?
The China Corporate and  Sustainability Lead plays a key role within the development of H&M within  China by leading and developing our corporate and sustainability communications  strategy in the market. You will develop relevant strategies and campaigns in  line with the brand and business objectives. You will be responsible for  building and maintaining a positive perception for H&M. 
Corporate  and Sustainability
·Conduct effective corporate  communication plan and campaigns to promote H&M brand
    
·Successful  implementation and co-ordination of global sustainability campaigns 
    
·Crisis management with both  external and internal communication channels
    
·Give input, challenge and support  China sustainability initiatives when relevant
    
·Conduct sustainability, corporate  projects and store / opening events independently 
    
·Carry out press events and  maintain media relations for new and expanding cities 
    
·Senior executive interview  pitching.
    
·Responsible for creating English/  Chinese communication contents eg. Press releases, speeches,  announcements etc. for both internal and external audiences 
    
·Strengthen  & protect H&M as a brand by ensuring that H&M brand guidelines and  policies are  met.
Manage  & Follow up
·Set,  follow up and report on KPIs and objectives connected to project  responsibility, showing  the connection  to added customer value and selling when possible. 
    
·Review  and process invoices associated to projects.
Collaboration/Stakeholder  management
·Develop  and drive sustainability, CSR programs and maintain NGOs/ industry  stakeholders’ relations.
·Maintaining  relationships with relevant industry, lifestyle, corporate editors and adjust  the communication activities well to the needs of key media.
·Reports  to the Greater  China Communications Manager
            
·Ensures  close collaboration with the marketing,  e-commerce, sales team and sustainability manager. 
WHO ARE YOU?
· A  formal education within Communication &/or Marketing is meriting
    · +  5 years’  of experience from project management roles
·You  have  a  strategic  mindset  and  strong  planning  and  prioritizing  skills
·You  have  a  strategic?and  analytical?mindset?with?strong  planning  and  prioritizing  skills?
·Solid  understanding  of  all  disciplines  of  marketing  and  communications
·You  have  excellent  communication  skills,  including  fluent  written  and  spoken  local  language  and  English.  
·You  are  an  excellent  relationship  builder.
                    
·Fluent  in  Microsoft  Office  –  Word,  Powerpoint  and  Excel
·Proven  track record of delivering strategies and solutions that drive business results
    ·Knowledge  of setting and following up KPI’s to demonstrate return of investment
    ·Relevant  experience in corporate /crisis communications
    ·Meriting  with competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working
·Positive  attitude to change / embrace challenges / persevere in the face of failure
    ·Desire  to learn / putting effort to build new skills / learn from mistakes / ask for  feedback and learn from it
