PTD (Production Test Development) verification engineer is to work in, and contribute to the PTD projects in the test technology department. This work must be performed in close cooperation with members of Ericsson PDU (Product Design Unit) and NPI (New Product Introduction) projects, as well as with members of Ericsson test development units that exist outside China; The developer is to research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient production test system by:

· Focusing on test solution integration and verification for Ericsson products produced in- and outside China;

· Committing project cost and time-plan targets, as well as test-coverage, test-yield and test-time targets, within the PTD projects

Job Description of Verification Engineer (Radio)

· To research, specify, implement, verify and improve radio test solutions with PDU engineers’ and PTD engineers’ cooperation.

· To design, implement and verify tests related RF verification environment.

· To execute verification of DUT (Device under Test) containing RF functions for test system correctness and accuracy.

· To be responsible for the radio test system HW level (LTM) release.

· To support radio technical competence development in PTD department.

· Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in Ericsson Company and the Test Technology organization.

Qualification for Verification Engineer (Radio)

· University degree or above in telecommunication, microwave or equivalent.

· Good knowledge of wireless theory, principle.

· Good knowledge of telecommunication systems (GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, etc).

· Experience with RF measurements, using Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer and other RF measurement equipment.

· VEE, LabView tool experience is a plus.

· Good communication skills and social ability, being a team player.

· Fluent in English speaking, understanding and writing.

· Design experience with radio products is a plus..

· Former experience with design for production test is a plus.
