Using scientific principle and theory, develops, validates, and documents new or improved instrumentation techniques and methods of analyzing either raw materials or finished products to improve analytical procedures, ensure stability, and substantiate product claims. Provides accurate chemical and physical information regarding product composition, stability, and quality through the use of analytical chemistry. Makes risk assessments and provides reports to Product Development on stability. Writes specifications for products.

In the absence of directly applicable existing methodology, incumbent conceptualizes and develops testing protocol to meet specific needs. Procedures must be clearly defined, reliable, and easily replicated on existing equipment. Prepares formal written reports regarding analytical results and recommendation for management review.
当现行方法不适用时，需要即时开发可靠的方法以满足需要。方法应可靠并具有较好的重现性。起草正式书面的分析结果报告提交管理层审核。
Develops nonstandard methodology for and performs nonstandard analyses of the chemical and physical analysis of finished products and raw materials, to respond to identified analytical needs regarding production, formulation, or product safety issues, to assess qualitative and quantitative properties, and to support the management decision-making process.
根据需求，开发标准以外的方法用以满足原料及半成品分析的需要，用于区分产品配方，安全性评估，定性定量判定等。
Evaluates current Quality Assurance methodologies, procedures, and practices to ensure effectiveness; recommends alternatives or provides training to make improvements.
对现行质量保证部门方法，流程能够评估及实际操作以保证其有效性；如有需要，提供改进意见及提供相关培训。


Remains abreast of current developments within the field of analytical chemistry and technology advances utilizing instrumentation to provide optimum analytical services. Installs, operates, and maintains instrumentation as required.

Interfaces with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, Product Safety, Product Development, Marketing, Creative Services, PQE, and Purchasing to discuss research approaches and methodology development or revision. Works with Quality Assurance regarding deviant test results and problem resolution. Attends project meetings and makes risk assessments on product's stability.
保持与QA、RA、产品安全部门及PD，市场，PQE，采购部门的联系以了解研究发展动态，以便进行方法的修订。
对结果偏离找出问题所在，参加项目会议，对产品稳定性进行安全性评估。

要求：

1、对较困难的问题提供可行解决方案,;
2、能够熟练操作化学分析仪器进行物料的检测;
3、化学分析等相关专业，本科,5~7年以上相关工作经验;硕士,3年以上工作经验;博士,一年以上工作经验.
