PTD(Production Test Development) softwre devleoper is to work in, and contribute to the PTD projects in the test technology department. This work must be performed in close cooperation with members of Ericsson PDU and NPI projects, as well as with members of Ericsson BNET test development units that exist outside China. The devleoper is to research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient production test system by:

· Focusing on SW development for Ericsson products produced in- and outside China,

· Committing project cost and time-plan targets, as well as test-coverage, test-yield and test-time targets, within the PTD projects for digital, radio, filter, Node, optical & broadband products.

Main Tasks:

· To support PTD project manager for project integration work, such as budgeting, planning, target setting, risk analysis, technical study, etc;

· To learn DUT knowledge in PTD project and feedback to DUT design for DfT issues, by focusing on DUT SW (type 2, type 3);

· To review test requirement (1524- ) and test specification (15241-) and other SW related documents in PDU and PTD.

· To ensure that standard details and platform software modules are used when advantages are obtained;

· To use standardized design strategy and contribute common test software solution to platform;

· To be responsible for test SW part in IP, DS and VS;

· To participate in ETSW commend definition work;

· To be design responsible for test method, test plan and test criteria;

· To be responsible for test system release on LPA level and SW level, including documentation by following document plan;

· To specify, design and verify specific test related SW, such as trouble shooting Term SW, CE test execution, repair screen test, etc, and release with documentation when applicable or required in projects;

· To support test HW system integration and verification;

· To support test verification engineer on auto verification SW development;

· To be responsible for prototype test in lab and production until pre-serial production, in cooperation with test HW design, test verification engineer and NPI test engineer;

· To actively contribute in test and DUT failure analysis in NPI project and solve test TR & CR according to CCB decision;

· To improve test system performance from test SW view, by focusing on test yield, test time, stability and reliability until handover to maintenance;

· To educate NPI test engineer, in terms of test SW installation, configuration and maintenance, test executive, understanding of test strategy and test case;

· To educate PTD engineer in maintenance and ensure smooth handover at end of project execution;

· To report work progress in projects by written report and/or attending project meetings;

· To support hot issue solving in volume production when there is need from PTD maintenance team;

· To support line manager and project manager about process improvement to achieve operational excellence;

· To coach new employees in assigned knowledge areas; and act as mentor when assigned;

· To find, learn and research new test theories, principles and technologies from telecommunication technology trend.

Qualifictions:

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Automation or equivalent;

· Good knowledge of telecommunication systems (GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, IP Optical & Broadband, etc);

· Good knowledge and experience with the C++ programming languages; C# is a plus.

· Good knowledge with SW development environment, such as Clearcase;

· Basic knowledge of telecommunication measurement instrumentation;

· Skilled in using MS Windows 2000/Vista, MS Office; Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux is a plus;

· Good problem analysis and solving skills;

· Good communication skills and social ability, being a team player;

· Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and pro-active;

· Fluent in English speaking, understanding and writing;

· Former experience with design for production test is a plus.
