Job scopes:

- Develop supplier base with competitive advantages in quality, on-time delivery, leadtime, and cost.

- Learn company's requirements and train the supplier on those requirements.

- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools such as manufacturing capability studies, gauge R&R, data collection, and root cause analysis to assess supplier capability, and to improve supplier performance.

Requirements:

- Ability to read and interpret complex part drawings and diagrams, and to posses considerable mechanical ability.

- Knowledge of various measurement methods, and inspection equipment and tools typically utilized in a manufacturing environment such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), micrometer, calipers, etc. Able to perform quality checks using basic inspection tools and basic quality data analysis.

- Capable of performing supplier quality assessments.-both at a quality systems level and at a technical level (castings/machining)

- Self starter and ability to recognize areas of improvement without specific direction.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Background in Pattern development: Wood, Steels, Aluminum, Investment and machine shop CNC and manual machining.

- Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (written and oral). Participate in conference calls after normal work hours as required with US.

- Ability to run a supplier meeting and document meeting minutes, actions items, and negotiate supplier performance and commitments.

- Ability to travel to the US if required and heavy travel requirements within Asia Pacific (mainly China, but could include India or other AP countries)
