Role Summary/Purpose:
The Product Marketing Manager - Asia Components within the Power Components Business Unit is responsible for sales, market share and profitability and commercialization of Components products for the Asia region
Essential Responsibilities:
- Owns regional formation of GPB and S2 Planning for the region.
- Leads regional Product Specialist, Product Application Engineers, and Field Product Marketing Managers.
- Prime Business Unit Regional interface to Commercial Regional leadership and liaison between global product management and sales, providing marketing intelligence to global product management for NPI scoping and product life cycle management in the region
- Ensures collateral and tools are available to sales to establish compelling sales stories and commercialization of new NPI launches.
- Conducts competitive product analyses with local markets and segments.
- Gathers, distills and delivers voice of customer to product management team
- Coordinates M-Reviews for regions and represents the region on Global M Reviews
- Establishes product pricing targets and thresholds and represents the BU on regional project R Reviews
- Develops product positioning statements / value propositions
- Responsible for Product Phase in and phase out for the region working with Product Management and commercial teams.
- Implementation and ownership of Configuration / pricing tools
- Supports supply chain planning for the region best to serve the customers from an inventory, fulfillment, simplification, quality, sourcing, capacity and footprint profile for the region.
- Works closely with and prime interface for Regional Marketing Teams to prioritize activities and executions of Marketing Plans and Product Strategy within respective region.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline, or 5 years of progressive product line, marketing or commercial experience.
- Able to energize teams at all levels of the organization and effectively balance multiple initiatives.
- High energy, assertiveness, and self -motivated individual to work in a fast paced environment with limited direction.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to market dynamics and competitor activities

Desired Characteristics: ECLP or CLP graduate
