Key Responsibilities

? Training to service providers and suppliers on Company's procedures.
? Monitor inspection activities performed by contractors in the supplier's base, ensuring full compliance of the PIT's, correct completion of records required control and inspection hours.
? Where previously agreed, conduct field inspection in compliance with inspection and test plans, generating the necessary approval before Shipping the material (material and documentation).
? Improve the systematic analysis and troubleshooting (QRT or 8D) on non-conformances of suppliers under inspectors responsibility.
? Establish and maintain control over nonconformities open for Petrobras (BR) inspection resident.
? Review plans and inspection test when requested by the project teams.
? Ensure the opening of NCR's (Z4) regarding non-conformities detected during the inspection events at the premises of suppliers.
? Conduct follow-up field when requested by the team Expediting.
? When prompted, support audit activities of system and process.
? Make monitoring the progress of the action plans developed by providers in response to system and process audits performed by Aker.
? Ensure compliance with the requirements of the customers and Company in implementing activities related to suppliers.
? Coordinate and monitor inspection activities on suppliers, including meeting the deadlines set forth in the purchase order.
? Monitor the entire flow of drafting and approval of Inspection and Test Plans under their responsibility.
? Support buyers in activity monitor treatment of non-conformities related suppliers

Basic Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree or above, Professional education in Metallurgy desired
? General Skills - Structured Training in Higher Education Level Completed
? Experience in oil & gas industry
? 3 to 5 years experience in the field
? Intermediate English language skills

Technical Knowledge

? Familiar with relevant standards such as ISO, EN, API, BS and NORSOK;

? At least 5 years hands-on experience in supplier quality management; Experienced in working to ISO 9000 and Quality control practices;

? Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, technical specifications

? Control, management and execution of all specified inspection activities as per ITP or Q-plan

? Compute Skills: (Word, Excel, Power Point): Intermediate / Advanced
? SAP: User level mainly with knowledge of procurement processes and warehouse
? Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting
? Subsea Products: Basics of Running products
