Internal Audit is a global organization of over 1,000 professionals covering Citi's global businesses and service to clients and customers in over 180 countries. Citi's Internal Audit division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment. IA is a change agent within Citi to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the world.

CTS Asia IA team is responsible for planning and executing audits of CTS business, which is comprised of Cash and Treasury Management, Securities and Funds Services, and Trade Finance.  In addition to executing the annual audit plan, the IA team stays abreast of business developments and initiatives on an ongoing basis, and works in a collaborative basis with the CTS management team. 
 
The Audit Manager will take responsibility for leading and executing CTS audits. Candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of at least two of the 3 CTS products and processes i.e. Cash Management, Trade Services & Finance and/or Securities & Funds Services. Candidate must also have an understanding of the US/ local regulations and the related risks and controls impacting the CTS businesses. Proficiency in English and Chinese languages is required.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and/ or participate in audits of the designated CTS entities in Asia in accordance with IA standards and applicable regulatory statutes.
Identify emerging risks in the products and processes and incorporate them into IA’s risk based audit approach.
Continuously assess the risks and controls of the designated audit entities for effective business monitoring.
Develop effective working relationships with business management to keep abreast with the changes.
Present complex and sensitive issues to management.
Maintain excellent working relationship with the regulators.
Monitor and validate corrective actions.
  
Qualifications
 
In-depth knowledge/ 8-12 years of internal audit and/or business experience in at least two of the 3 products/ processes i.e. Cash Management, Trade Services & Finance and/or Securities & Funds Services.
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance as it relates to CTS business.
Relevant accounting/ finance professional certification would be preferred.
Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
Capable of handling multiple projects and producing quality results.
Good decision making abilities and sound judgment.
Works well individually and in teams, shares information and supports team members in achieving objectives.
