Responsibilities:

Manager responsible for installation, growth and maintenance of fuel cell compressor system production and test equipment

• Implement the installation and setup of the proposed manufacturing layout in the new facility
• Assist in the run-off of new equipment from Chinese vendors
• Organize and train the production assembly workers to meet the production schedule and quality requirements
• Work with US team to finalize process flow charts, PFMEA’s, control plans and work instructions
• Work with production planners to understand the schedule, communicate realistic capabilities and equipment necessary to achieve schedules
• Support ISO and IATF certification approvals
• Support environmental and business approvals
• Problem solve or create work arounds when equipment is not working properly
• Apply lean manufacturing concepts to improve productivity and quality
• Work with US team to implement new equipment and processes to improve productivit

Requirements:

BS in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or other related technologies with a solid knowledge in manufacturing 5+ years of hands on experience in a manufacturing plant Experience managing other engineers and/or assembly workers Experience using lean manufacturing concepts Running off / accepting new equipment Statistical process control – control charting key parameters and performing gage R&R studies Creating and using work flows, PFMEA’s, control plans and work instructions. Experience in a global company setup
