Position Responsibilities:

• Work with existing Ford and vendor resources to understand application integration process, with the goal of performing this function independently in the future.Specifically, work closely with integrators for machine monitoring application, and assume primary support role for this application as the new model program approaches Job1.
• Understand, learn, and perform all aspects of machine monitoring application new model program deployment:
  Application configuration (assets, devices, reports, etc.)
  Software interface to Hardware devices (PLC's, PC's, display boards, pagers, printers, servers, etc.)
  Validation of data collected from the plant floor.
  Application functionality as driven by integration tasks
  Troubleshooting application integration to answer questions/resolve issues identified during deployment
• Document integration tasks for the benefit of incoming Ford application integration resources
• Identify process improvement/cost save opportunities for future launches4.
• Develop and maintain training materials for future Ford integration resources
• Provide training to new resources on application integration
• Candidate will interface with the following business and IT organizations in the course of their work:
• Ford and vendor integration resources for machine monitoring application
• Central Staff governance for PTO IT New Model Launches
• Joint Venture personnel
• Plant personnel including Area Leads, Maintenance Engineers, and Plant Production
• Controls and Manufacturing Engineering
• Travel to the U.S. and/or Ford Powertrain plants in the Asia Pacific region is required for this position.

Candidate Specification:

• Education Qualification:Bachelor's degree in computing, electrical engineering or equivalent
• Number of Years of Experience:3+ years in Manufacturing Plant Floor environment
• Skills:Machine Monitoring Application Configuration,Support or Maintenance, Problem-Solving, MS Office
• Experience with PLC architecture, logic, communications and memory maps (Siemens in particular)
• PLC communications/logic configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with HMI interfaces to PLC controlled machines, using WinCC, Wonderware, or other similar software.
• Experience with manufacturing machine monitoring systems, ideally using ActivePlant, or experience with POSMON
• Familiarity with plant floor processes and devices
• OPC Server (Kepware, Simatic NET, OPC Scout) configuration and troubleshooting
  Direct PLC or CNC Programming (RSLogix, Siemens) experience or the ability to read machine control software printouts.
