职位描述：
Job responsibilities：
1、Prepares Project RAM and Safety Plans that define the RAMS objectives and tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be produced at various phases of each project.

2、Leads and drives project RAMS activities to ensure that they are conducted on schedule in accordance with the RAM and Safety plans.

3、Represents PBTS for RAMS issues in meetings with customers, consortium members, suppliers or other third parties (e.g. Independent Safety Assessors).

4、The work required will vary from project to project, depending on the contract requirements. Typically, RAMS Engineer responsibilities include;

—Apportions Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability and Safety targets to ensure hardware is being designed to meet contractual requirements and coordinates with sub-system responsible engineers to ensure that RAMS requirements and deliverable are specified in supplier TRDs;

—Prepares RAMS Report(s) and Safety Case as part of the RAMS Demonstration program for each project.

—Prepares RAMS submissions to the customer or other relevant third parties, e.g. ISA.

—Prepares Reliability Report as part of Reliability monitoring and improvement program.

—Supports the related design engineers to perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and/or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) at subsystem and system level to identify all single failure points that are critical to operational success of the system.

—Performs RAMS predictions and calculations to verify compliance to customer requirements and to recommend RAM improvement strategy.

—Performs Spares Analysis and identify recommended spare parts list to support the system maintenance within the required years of operation.

—Prepares Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis that will predict the total cost of utilizing the propulsion system through its entire life span.
编制生命周期成本(LCC)分析，预测牵引系统整个运行生命周期中的成本；
—Performs MTBF calculations based on site data from PI to support FRACAS - Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System process.
根据PI提供的现场数据进行MTBF计算，支持FRACAS运行-失效报告，分析以及纠正措施系统；
—Evaluates the reliability of designs and design changes for hardware by reviewing technical specifications, design & Engineering Change Control documentation.
行技术规范，设计和工程更改控制文件评审，对硬件设计的可靠性以及设计变更进行评估；
—Assures that RAM requirements are met by participating in hardware design reviews.
参加硬件设计评审，确保满足RAM要求；
—Provides evaluations & recommendations with respect to RAMS in formal design reviews and by raising Change Reports (CRs) against any RAMS issues.
以正式的设计评审或者以对RAMS问题提出变更报告（CRs）的形式，提供RAMS评估和建议；
—Evaluates the reliability of designs and design changes for hardware by reviewing technical specifications, design & Engineering Change Control documentation having direction from the Group Lead and work closely with other team members, both inside the RAM team and from other functional teams, to meet the project objectives.
根据部门领导要求，通过对技术规范，设计和工程更改控制文件评审，对硬件设计以及设计变更可靠性进行评估；与RAM团队以及其他function同事紧密合作，满足项目目标；
—Prepares and maintains engineering department processes and procedures relating to RAMS

Job qualifications：
—BSc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
车辆电气工程相关专业学士或硕士学历
—A minimum of 2 years RAMS related experience working in an engineering organization which performs electrical system design work.
至少2年在电气设计工程部的RAMS相关经验
—Experienced in the application of with EN50126 RAMS standard in large multidisciplinary projects, preferably in the railway industry.
在大型综合项目、最好是铁路行业有应用EN50126RAMS标准的经验
—Experience with FMEA, FTA, RAM analyses, plus statistical modelling and analysis of complex hardware systems are assets.

—A knowledge of system requirements definition/design, RAM analyses.

—Shall be self-motivated and willing to take responsibility for RAMS aspects of projects.

—Microsoft office, Auto CAD.

—Knowledge of FTA tools would be an advantage.
