JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Automation Engineer – China position has two general purposes:

？ Service and support of equipment installations in China;

？ Automation design, specification, programming, and testing to support systems projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Automation specification and test plan development and review;

？ PLC, DCS, and HMI programming for a variety of biopharmaceutical process equipment;

？ Automation testing – Bench, Factory, and Customer Sites;

？ Troubleshooting, repair, and upgrading of equipment installations;

？ Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

？ 3-5 years experience in process automation;

？ Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software, Siemens, and/or Emerson DeltaV automation platforms;

？ B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering;

？ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English;

？ Ability to travel approximately 25%, mostly within China and occasionally to the US;

？ Familiarity with ISA S.88;

？ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a strong plus, including knowledge of GAMP 5.
