Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with APA Plants to review current model and future model quality, including BSAQ tracking and plant reporting.
• Coordinate quality reviews with regional plants and update PIC room status.
• Support APA plants with quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead Health Chart Status and update in E2KS for Paint APA Health Charts.
• Identify and resolve issues during the vehicle design phase, to achieve acceptable Design-For-Manufacturing outcomes.(Safety / Quality / Cost)
• Identify and develop facility requirements to support vehicle assembly, that meet program Safety, Quality & Cost targets.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor of Engineering or similar
• Experience in Process Engineering or Paint Application for an automotive OEM, or for an OE supplier to an automotive manufacturer
• Experience in Failure Mode Avoidance and Process Improvement would be an advantage
• Data driven approach to analytical problem solving, and process robustness
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, through development of business case with supporting data, and clear communication to management levels
• Skill with use of 3D Product Visualisation software to simulate and analyse assembly processes
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, and provide effective technical communication with team members from diverse cultural and language backgrounds (Asian language capability would be an advantage)
• Leadership:Business Acumen;Leading teams, Team Development;Metric driven delivery; Change Management;Influencing skills;Exposure to regional trading partners.
• Functional / Technical (TMM):Design-for-Manufacturing;Data driven problem solving and decision making;Process reliability and robustness;Dimensional control studies.
• Improvement in APA Plant quality metrics for TGW. R's and CPU.
• All aspects of process feasibility and development for vehicle manufacturing, from initial design phase through to implementation into multiple vehicle assembly plants.
