A.Job Responsibilities

The key responsibility of this role is providing Manufacturing Engineering support to the FM manufacturing plants and development and mentoring of the local plant engineering talents across Asia - China - Korea - India.

>Be responsible for traveling as required to FM facilities, vendors and customers to offer the support.

>Be responsible for applying a diversified range of tasks that occur in a manufacturing palnt;

>Be responsible for an appreciation of equipment, tooling, production management, quality systems, manufacturing technologies (stamping, moulding, coating, cleaning, assembly, automation, tooling) and ideally experienced in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

>Be responsible for effective communicator at all levels of the organization in both English and Chinese and MUST be fluent in both.

>Be responsible for training,which includes vary from high level management of tasks, to enginnering and operator training, equipment specification and procurement, equipment installation and debugging, process and tooling design, vendor selection, new plant start up to, creation of manufacturing and quality and engineering documentation.

>Be responsible for dealing with and advice on equipment and process trouble shooting task;

>Be responsible for producing needed documentation that is required for production launch working with the manufacturing, product and technology teams.

>Be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing systems such as tooling and equipment preventative maintenance and also assist in the training of local manufacturing personnel.

>Other responsibilities will include project business case, capital expenditures and equipment installation for supporting implementation of new process technologies and technology transfers.

>Be responsible for working with a global core team with representation from product engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, materials with the goal of meeting customer requirements for performance, on-time delivery, quality and cost.

>Be responsible for working with outside partners such as tool shops, equipment manufacturers, engineered automation shops and material suppliers. The person must demonstrate ability to work individually and in teams as necessary to complete a project and always act with the highest professionalism nd integrity.

>Responsible for transferring technologies from other locations such as Europe and United States. Flexible to travel for training on these technologies. Become local expert in China on the new processes and support buildup of new production lines in China.
>Responsible for Equipment Purchases: Research vendors and prepare equipment specifications using available global standards. Work with sourcing board to make final vendor selection based on best supplier to meet technical specification, pricing, delivery and service/support. Prepare detailed ECAP for run-off approval at supplier and FM facilities. Coordinate installation with production facility and suppliers.
>Be responsible for project management,which includes detailed planning of all key tasks in completion of manufacturing an process development projects. Proven track record of coordinating the activities of a project and taking a project from concept to completion.Coordinate project with product engineering;manufacturing, material development, advanced product development and sales

B.JOB REQUIREMENTS:

> Bachelor Degree, major in mechanical industrial or manufacturing engineering;

> More than five yeares relevant working experience in rubber and plastic industry,preferable in automotive industry;

> Specific proficiency for each job skill is defined in the skills requirement checklist for this job title;

>Owns the rich experience in project management;

>Finance knowlege,to have understanding of financial justification for project,become familiar with product costing process and financial justifications including such measurement as EVA,ROI and payback.

>Be familiar with QA tools;

>Strong mechanical aptitude with "hands on experience of various manufacturing processes.ability to be diverse and work with various fields of expertise to solve prolems;Comprehends and applies knowledge to complete complex assignment.

>Ability to stay focused on established goals while working induvidually,on a team or in a team leader role.Sets high stands for achievement and is influetial in persuading team members;

>Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally to a broad audience in English and Chinese;

>Computer literacy, Excel, Word, Database, Project, Powerpoint, AUTOCAD;

>Can accept to travel all FM plant and vendors throughout China, Northern America, Europe and Asia.
