Job Description

Position Title : AP Accountant

Location : Taicang, Jiangsu

Report to : Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

The AP Accountant position is responsible for the general accounting function in a designated BorgWarner location, including accounts payable and receivables. The individual will prepare, analyze and track financial schedules, statements, budgets, forecasts and estimates in accordance with U.S. GAAP; investigate account discrepancies; prepare and adjust journal entries, prepare necessary reports, and assist management with special accounting projects.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Review and monitor requests for payment from vendors, employee claims and intercompany transactions;

2. Timely and thorough follow up on all invoice discrepancies, and differences between invoiced and received transactions (GRIR);

3. Ensure the relevant accounting complies with US GAAP, PRC GAAP, and Company Policy;

4. Insure that all internal controls are kept current and followed in every case;

5. Ensure timely monthly closing and accurate monthly financial reporting;

6. Ensure compliance with corporate financial reporting policies;

7. Handle tax filing and related government reporting;

8. Perform ad hoc analysis; reporting or projects assigned by management team and supervisor;

9. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. College Degree or above with major in Finance or accounting;

2. More than 2 years working experience in manufacture environment;

3. SAP experience is preferred. Good PC skill;

4. Good English skills (oral and written);

5. Positive thinking on own job for job efficiency improvement;

6. Able to work independent and as a team player;

7. Good work attitude, flexible to welcome new assignments.
