Purpose
IKEA's version is to create a better everyday life for the many people. It is with our Maintenance Idea that we keep the safe store in shape as new to build a better environment for all IKEA customers and co-workers. Through managing efficient daily operation, maintenance and right emergency respond to secure store business running on a solid and stable foundation to realize maintenance long term cost efficiency.
Mandate
As one of the key positions in maintenance functional working circle, the store maintenance manager plays the important role in store operation and fulfils maintenance tasks. By partnering with property maintenance the store maintenance manager should secure the store maintenance team has higher working competence and motivation, efficient working procedure, well organized cooperation and effective communication. The store maintenance manger should take the responsibility to keep the store in shape as new within planed budget and running the store in higher energy efficiency way. This position also should working with property maintenance to carry out preventive maintenance, planed maintenance and emergency repair for the property assets.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Daily operation
? Together with maintenance team setup the efficient working procedure and continue improving
? M&E system operation management, including power system, lighting, air-condition...

Simple maintenance
? Organize and using various sourcing to fulfil the working order in a smart way to support store business
? Keep the building in completed function by organizing timing check and simple repair

Emergency respond
? Organize to take the right action to stop the accident at the first time
? Make temporary safe treatment to avoid further damages

People development
? Make the training plan for the maintenance co-workers base on the regularly competence evaluate
? Have the successor and the development plan which are fulfilled successfully

Knowledge

Previous Safety & Security experience.

Fundamentals of security control and inventory loss prevention

Understand basic accident prevention legal demands

Fundamentals of fire codes and knowledge of fire fighting

Motivation

Working in a safe environment

Business success through provided safety environment to customers and co-workers

Interest to gearing up people's safety consciousness

Capability

Clear communication ideas and intentions with high intuition to insight

To deal with stress situation regularly
