SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist

SUMMARY

Responsible for improving the company’s organic search result, creates and launches SEO campaigns, identifies areas of improvement and improves the company’s site’s ranking on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties may include but are not limited to:

· Improve organic search results through on- and off-page SEO on Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.

· Create and implement SEO strategy (on-page and off-page) based on in-depth keyword research and

analysis

· Keep abreast of white hat and black hat SEO tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines. A

high level of SEO ethics is required.

· Use a range of link analysis tools to track, monitor and evaluate link opportunities.

· Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative web sites for link building

opportunities

· Continually improve site structure, page construction, content and keyword lists

· Contribute SEO recommendations to site redesigns, product enhancements, and new site features

· Actively measure results and monitor on a daily basis, also keeping in mind key performance

indicators (bounce rate, page views, lead volume, etc.)

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCY:

· Solid oral and written English communication skills

· 2+ years relevant SEO experience, including in a dedicated Search Engine Marketing role

· Proven track record of driving ranking and results

· Bachelor’s degree

· Highly autonomous as well as able to work in a team environment

· Experience working on large and foreign websites

· Strong understanding of Web analytics and SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, SEOmoz,

Majestic, etc.) and advanced knowledge of SEO strategies

· Understanding of Social Media, SEM and conversion optimization

· Analytical ability, accuracy, and skill with numbers

· SEO Agency experience is a plus
