The company:
Our client is a leading company in the power engineering sector with a strong focus on innovation. The company’s core business is the regulation of power transformers. A privately owned, family run company from Germany with almost 150 years history, the company is active in over 20 countries worldwide with around 2700 employees. The first Chinese entity was established 18 years ago, with two more power production sites following in 2006. For their Shanghai entity they are now looking for a new Senior Key Account Manager with focus on Greater China to increase significant market share.
Your mission and task:
Your mission will be to develop and manage key account relationships at all levels and identify the decision makers for the business. You will independently define strategic goals and actions to build strong and trust worthy relations to the business owners and key players in the market. In your role you will independently negotiate and close deals. You task is also to increase the market knowledge and brand awareness in China, working together with your OEM customers to create a shared value.
Your profile:
You have 8+ years working experience in similar sales role, ideally in the electrical energy (mid to high voltage), power generation or capital equipment industry with a proven track record of being responsible for one of the top three key accounts of your company. You are an aggressive and ambitious sales professional, who can work independently and wants to achieve high results. You can connect to people, identify their relations and understand complex connection of an organization. You are native in mandarin and speak English fluently.
