Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate and manage material cost activities including generation of Costed Bill of Materials (BOM), cost analysis and price negotiation
• Analyze material cost trend, manage customer request and end-to-end cost process management
• Identify high impact cost reduction opportunities by making changes in products, yet achieving the same safety, quality and design requirements for customers;
• Leverage the organization's buying power to optimize costs, access new suppliers, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply
• Collect and evaluate information about potential suppliers
• Develop, implement and use tools and technology for managing and analysing the supplier portfolio
• Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards and best practices
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential buyers and suppliers to the organization

Skills and Experience

• Diploma, Certificate or College graduate in Clothing and Textile;
• At least 5 years'experience in an analytical role in raw materials and production costs, preferably with factory costing experience
• Good understanding of production process
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem solving and attention to details
• Proficiency in written & spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
