Responsibilities:

• Base on the CPM(Critical Path Management) or WIP(Work-In-Progress), & the Production Tracker Sheets provided by the Merchandiser Team on Resupply Orders, follow up on them to validate all required key materials & components for the Resupply Orders have been properly booked & purchased by the Vendors, & that the delivery timeline (to the production factory) for each are in order so to fulfil the bulk shipment delivery, for each continuing delivery slots (until the Resupply Program ended)
• At the vendor's premises (or it's designated production factory), Physically validate each key materials & components for the Resupply Orders match well in quantity & quality required as per information provided by the Merchandiser Team
• Proactively provide immediate feedback or sound the alarm to Merchandiser Team if there is any matters not in accordance with the above requirement, so that the Merchandiser Team can response & take all necessary actions right away, to have the Vendor rectify the shortcoming discovered, or contact the Buying Team/ Planner to have the issues resolved on a timely basis

Requirements:

• University or Tech College graduate with relevant Apparel / Textile working experience with production management & trading/buying office exposure
• At least 7 years working experience in Garment Purchasing or Production, well versed in bulk fabric & trims purchasing process, & each step of the production flow
• Details minded with ability to calculate consumptions required for the Resupply Orders for bulk production needs, & track delivery required for each materials to ensure smooth bulk production operation to meet the bulk garment deliveries, by each slot stipulated by our Merchandiser Team
• Able to independently carry out the physical verification work on goods (key bulk materials & trims)ordered & purchased, with the vendor/factory's on the ground assistance, & report & feedback back to the Merchandiser Team accurately on any major slip off that would affect the smooth order execution & production run
• Sound knowledge of Garment Production Flow for each product categories (Woven, Sweaters, Cut-and-Sewn Knits)
• Steady personality, calm & persistent, excellent communication & inter-personnel skills, tactful in handling difficult situation & still does not feel under undue pressure, ability to identify problems, & feedback accurately to the merchandiser team
• Must be fluent in at least written English, & communicate & present situation well
• Well-versed in computer application, especially the use of Excel Spread sheet, MS office Outlook, & Word applications
• Frequent travel within China is required, & may also involve offshore production countries (depending on spread of the Resupply orders)
