Key Focus

? Prepare process design scope for capital projects
? Interface with project engineering disciplines to ensure process scope for capital projects is correctly addressed
? Develop process scope of projects based on respective business inputs
? Conduct process hazard analyses for all process changes and capital projects
? Ensure process designs meet Chinese and Albemarle safety and environmental standards
? Manage Management of Change process forJinshan Plant
? Implement and manage the incident investigation program for the Nanjing Plant
? Develop and implement cost reduction, process safety improvement, and environmental performance improvement projects


Accountabilities

? Ensure a coordinated development of projects respecting strategies of various business groups
? Manage a continuous improvement program for safety, environmental performance, and costs
? Ensure safety and environmental standards are achieved by all projects and ventures


Responsibilities

? Develop process scope for all process changes including capital projects
? Work with project engineering resources, internal and external, to ensure that process design is addressed by project scope
? Work with Finance to prepare economic analyses for projects and ventures
? Prepare safety and environmental impact studies using 3rd party resources as necessary
? Conduct process hazard analyses for all process changes including capital projects
? Conduct process reviews and audits to ensure safety and environmental compliance to standards
? Manage the incident investigation program and ensure corrective actions are implemented
? Manage the site Management of Change process


Requirements
? Minimum of 5 years working experience in chemical plant
? Bachelor degree with Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process or related subjects
? Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in bilingual language
