Position Title: Program Manager

Location: Ningbo, Zhejiang, China

Report to: Manager of Program Management

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides program management for Borg Warner Turbo programs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead the program team to run programs in accordance to the program management process of the company and to achieve the program objectives in terms of quality, cost and delivery set at the initial phase.

Closely work with the global program team in headquarter to co-develop global programs

Manage/organize the different activities leading to successful program launch. This includes different gate reviews set by BW Program Management

Direct, coordinate, exercise functional authority for the planning, budget, organization and development of the programs

Interact with the customers to satisfy customer demands

Report in a timely and organized fashion program status to the cross-functional launch team and upper management

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Masters degree in business administration or engineering a plus

Minimum 8 years of working experience in program management, engineering quality, manufacturing or equivalent function, desired in automotive industry. Minimum 3 years of experience in program management function,

Must be fluent in both Chinese and English. Fluency in German a plus.

Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of engine or turbocharger a plus.

Knowledge of corporate finance/accounting a plus.

Open to/understanding of others cultures.

Lean Manufacturing and/or 6 Sigma training & experience.
