Responsibilities:

1. Continuously find cost efficient and innovative project delivery with designers and contractors, identifying the best sourcing option and procurement strategie and the best project method for design-construct interaction. 

2. Coordinate and implement construction delivery strategies, methods and procedures together with all internal and external stakeholders. 

3. Ensure delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solution at lower cost that meet the needs of the business and the many people. 

4. Secure that appropriately competent resources are available to manage construction projects in all phases from start to finish, leading the hand-over of completed areas for retail build-up or tenant fit-out in accordance with an agreed schedule and scope. 

5. Manage and develop the team members' competence, performance and succession planning. 

6.Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers  

Requirements:

1. Academic degree in engineering or equivalent working experience 

2. Familiar with procurement processes and contract negotiations 

3. Have rich experience of construction management both planning and on site.  

4. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English 

5.   Preferable knowledge of Ingka construction standards and investment   procedures
