This role will be responsible for the overall procurement activities, develop and implement procurement strategy to support on the Gale strategies to transform manufacturing to be world class level.

Description

lDevelop and implement the procurement strategy to support on company business success

lStandardize supplier management process and system for continuous improvement

lSource, introduce and develop the capable suppliers to meet Cost, delivery and quality target

lLead on the cost reduction activities, conduct commercial negotiation and contracting

lConduct buying/market analysis, for supply chain optimization to drive cost down

lDefine and monitor supplier performance regularly, introduce supplier assessment process

lParticipate in the daily operational problem solving, guide suppliers on prompt actions

lInvolve in new product design process, lead on the supplier sample release process

lActively collaborate with global purchasing team for global standardization and improvement

lDevelop team competences




Profile

lResult and future oriented as well as structured thinking

lStrong communication skills, and commercial skills

lGood Team player

lBachelor's degree or above, majored in engineering preferred, commercial field acceptable

lGood language skills (Chinese & English) and communication skills

lMinimum 8-10 years purchasing experience
