Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain outstanding operating standards for the Food Department in areas including guest experience, food quality, presentation, menu mix, satisfaction, safety and cleanliness.
Manage and regularly evaluate department menus, pricing strategies, sales mix, and recipes in a manner consistent with growing the business.
Hire, train, coach, develop, manage, evaluate, motivate and inspire department leadership team.
Ensure department-wide compliance with all health and safety regulations and company standards.
Develop, implement, and manage in-stand guest communication,, graphics, and marketing tools (menus, menu boards, promotional signage, etc.) that drive business and guest experience.
Ensure that restaurants operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos.
Be responsible for the business performance of the restaurants, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.
Restaurant management combines strategic planning, shift pattern organization and day-to-day management activities. Have creative aspects, particularly in marketing and business development.
Business activities:
? Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant;
? Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability;
? Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes;
? Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales;
? Creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development;
? Setting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior management;
? Planning and coordinating menus.
Front of house:
? Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurants during scheduled shifts;
? Managing staff and providing them with feedback;
? Responding to customer complaints;
? Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s uniform standards;
? Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations;
? Advising customers on menu and wine choice;
? Recruiting, training and motivating staff;
? Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.
Housekeeping:
? Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety;
? Checking stock levels and ordering supplies;
? Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required;
? Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
Recommended Education and training:
? At least a bachelor’s degree in relevant majors, such as hospitality Management.
? A master’s degree is also helpful. Additional courses in travel and tourism or entertainment are also helpful.
Requirements:
? Demonstrate interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and supervisory skills.
? A results-driven servant leader with high volume, theme park management experience in ride management.
? Additionally, you will have a work history that illustrates the successful ability to teach, train, and coach others with positive results, and have recent, proven experience in meeting and exceeding profit goals.
? Must have the skills to work with large numbers of employees.
