General Manager Finance for Singapore land development company to be based in Chengdu
Our client is a big land development company from Singapore, They have a huge development in Chengdu, this is a joint venture between Singapore and the Chinese. The CFO is a local Chinese professional, we are now recruiting for them General Manager for Finance. The chosen candidate will report directly to the CFO
Pay is about S$8k per month, and overseas allowance ( if on expat terms) will not be less than S$4,ooo per month
13 month plus variable bonus for good performance on the average is 3 to 4 months
Reports to CFO of Chengdu, and has 4 junior accounting staff reporting to him
The incumbent should have good work experience in big corporation familiar with corporate governance and have good potential for career development
The Challenge
? He/she is to report to the Chief Financial Officer
? Manage a full set of accounts and liaise with China authorities on all financial matters
? Responsible for financial and cost analysis
? Responsible for annual budgeting and mid-term forecasting
? Responsible for management of financial reporting and taxation
? Responsible for payroll and staff taxation issues
? Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts
? Assist the Chief Financial Officer in fund raising exercise
? Ensure compliance with internal system of controls
? Perform other adhoc projects as assigned
The Person(s)
? Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
? Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position
? Working knowledge of MS Office
? Good spoken and written Chinese
? Experience working in China preferred
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
