SUMMARY
Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Buyer is responsible for purchasing parts, products and Operations supplies as well as negotiating service contracts..

RESPONSIBILITIES
？ Implement strategies of purchase, negotiation and contract for categories.
？ Negotiate and make contracts, as well as other purchases of goods and specific services.
？ Investigate and analyze market data: demand, suppliers, associated risks, etc.
？ Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, support their development and collaborate in the assessment and approval processes.
？ Ensure compliance with contracts, penalties, etc.
？ Develop relationships with internal clients, supporting, viewing and adding value to the purchasing function.
？ Achieve procedures and ensure quality, safety and environment standards.
？ Participate in the selection of suppliers and issue corresponding requests for proposals for the procurement of goods and/or services, perform its monitoring and activation.
？ Collaborate with their superiors in the external clarification and internal of the various offers, doing so the necessary steps.
？ Analyze bids, tabulating and issue procurement proposals.
？ Issue specific orders for goods or services and formalise the records to your computer file, track and activation.
？ Manage orders based on framework contracts or premises, its follow-up and activation.
？ Propose improvements to contracts framework and its specialty stores.
？ Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers. Search for new suppliers and do surveys of market.
？ Work with the SAP material master maintenance areas, carrying out consultations to providers and users to the correct definition of spare parts and auxiliary materials of manufacture.
？ Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.
PROFILE
？ Required Qualifications:
？ Holds a bachelor degree or an equivalent experience, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is preferable;
5-year experience in purchasing spare parts and service contracts in industrial field, the refinery, petrochemical or chemical field is a plus. E&I segment purchasing is also preferable.
？ Good knowledge in SAP MM module or similar system; extra experience of SRM is preferable.
？ Skills and Aptitudes:

？ Skills in negotiation;
？ Oral and written communication;
？ Organizational and urgency skills and capacity to manage priorities;
？ Integrity and professional ethics;
？ Can accept travel
